Introducing our newest Baba in our signature color, Sabah Blue. The Sabah Blue Baba is a vibrant, electric, cobalt blue that was produced exclusively for Sabah, in the Tuscan countryside near Pisa, the heart of the Italian leather tanning industry. This Baba is made at our workshop in El Paso, from 100% veg-tanned leather that is robust, with a natural sheen, and a soft, transparent surface -- it will burnish as it ages, breaking in, and getting better and better, with every step. A versatile color that pairs well with neutrals, prints and patterns. We hope you love it as much as we do!

LIGHTLY BRUSH OFF ANY DEBRIS OR DIRT ON THE SURFACE WITH A SOFT, DAMP CLOTH. USE SABAH LEATHER CLEANER AND CONDITIONER, IN THAT ORDER, APPLYING THE PRODUCT TO A SOFT CLOTH AND RUBBING IT ONTO THE SHOE WITH A CIRCULAR MOTION. PRESSURE ISN’T NECESSARY — SIMPLY APPLY WITH A QUICK MOTION AND THE HEAT OF THE FRICTION WILL INFUSE THE PRODUCT INTO THE TOP GRAIN OF THE LEATHER. BE CERTAIN TO COVER THE ENTIRE UPPER, INCLUDING WITHIN THE CREASES. ALLOW TO DRY AND THEN BUFF OFF THE EXCESS WITH A CLEAN, DRY SOFT CLOTH.

These Babas are produced at the Sabah Workshop in El Paso, Texas -- ready to break in wherever your travels may lead you, uniquely forming to your foot with each wear. We use natural, high quality leathers... in this case, a drum-dyed veg-tanned leather sourced from Tuscany. In addition to the vegetable tanned upper, we also use a unique, veg tanned Italian bull leather sole, heel and insole, and a unique channeled, lock-stitched construction that is not common in modern footwear.
El Paso has enabled us to utilize materials from all over the world. Each pair is thoughtfully created by hand and by name, from concept to execution.
